I loved that area. As I was waiting at the finish line I was looking at the view at the top of the hill. It was purely amazing. The Pictures don't do it justice
however anyone who snapped some pics best thing to do is make a zip file and upload it at http://www.vignando.com/upload.asp
Jeff K (VW Driver) Won best overall speed/time in the Poker run
Christine (Tiger on this board and drives a civic) Won best hand
Piotrov got the most milage award as he got lost .. on a side note he also got the highest speed average. Tomorrow I'll post the speed/time results along with Milage
I had a great time .. hopefully next time we can get some more people out. We definately had a blast. So thanks everyone involved and who came out !!! 8)

Congratulations to all our participants, and to the tireless hours of organizing to all those involved. For those that attended you'll know how hard Mark & the team have worked to bring you this event which I expect will become part of the c7 Event calander every year!!

thanks for those who organized and came out! definitely was a highlight event. even though i have a final exam monday, i couldn't miss this. surely enough, my g/f and i had a blast...zooming down the peterborough backroads at 160 km/h up and down the hills (literally like a roller coaster), hard turns, simply amazing. at the end of the day, joyce actually said "this event made me begin to actually like your car  " (she doesn't like me putting money and time into the car :| )
fantastic time!

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to put in my Kudos to everyone that came out yesterday.
It was a perfect day, and everyone seemed to have a tonne-o-fun.
It realy was a trial run for C7P's EMT and judging by the big ‘shit-eatting' grins on everyone's faces, I think it was well received. And we all learned lots for the next event.
(Ie "proof read yer course notes BEFORE printing..")
As well as the main event dinner was a BLAST.. (I'll be posting something on this later.. :giggle:) With a few of B-Days to celebrate also Prafull (in absentia), Pitrov, and Christine.
Afterwards we went for a bit of a ‘cruze' (originally to get gas), and we decided crash a gathering of some of the local import scene. Quite the blast. Passed out cards, and even attracted a couple of local Celi Enthusiasts! (If you're reading this guys! Welcome aboard!! )..... too bad we couldn't get that cute dark haired girl in the Silver Celi to in and hang with us too..
I'll be posting the pictures to Brandon gradually today as I live in ‘Rural Dial-up hell'. Quite a few of them didn't turn out so hot. I think it's cause my batteries are nearly dead..
(Sigh)
To those that couldn't make it! No worries!!! You'll have plenty more chances to come out and play!! :D

Special thanks to Mark and everyone for making this happen. I can't get over how much fun we had. In addition, how challenging everything was. I remember discussing with Derek, my riding partner what music we would listen too, but once the rally started, we really didn't have time to listen to any tunes, we were too busy barking out milege markers and directions, and hanging on for dear life..
Fell in love with my car all over again..
It's too bad we "got it" a little too late. If we would have run the first stage like the second we may have won the whole thing...
Here's a note for you all for next year. Although you win by running closest to the speed limit for the whole run, if you actually go the speed limit you'll loose due to the fact that when you stop to piss, get lost, or pick up your card the clock is still running!!!!
Made that mistake the first leg, then spent the rest of the time catching up! And believe me, catching up was amazingly fun!
Derek did an amazing job of calculating our milege and our rate of speed and at the end of each leg he'd yell how far back we were.
Leg 1. Right on time.
leg 2 got lost 17 mins out.
After that, it was "drive as fast as you can you mother fucker"
And we did... And it was soooooooooooooo much fun...
Thank God those were all back roads and nobody was on them!!!!
Man, awesome job guys. I hope you can see by the length of this post, just how excited I still am....
Perhaps we need an end of summer run?

HOnestly it was SUPPOSED to be an average speed run. Next time we'll add 3min for each stop. That way it will allow people a chance to stretch a bit, pee, etc..
But as you can tell from some of those roads. It is VIRTUALY impossible to actualy do the posted speed-limit..
But yea. Next time I think we'll play with the numbers a bit. Speeding on some of those roads is NOT cool.. Especialy the ones in Cottage country.. I worry about kids, and puppies...
This event has certainly given me some ideas for the next one. :D

MAN!!!!!!!!!111 sounds like rural F1 racing!!!!!!!!!!! I just finished watching the Brazillian GP this morning at the gym...and it so pumped me up
Keeping track of "leg" times, and pit stops...just like lap times, and pit stops...except on the f1 track its in seconds and miliseconds...on the c7 circuit it's in minuits (or hours if your piotrov :giggle:)....
good show ladies and gentleman...and congratulations on making this C7 event a complete success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The event was really fun even though we got lost and couldent find out way back
Even had the local stores participating in it which was awsome, and totaly got me off guard. But got a chance to pick up the next card and some batteries for the radio. IT was a great time and Thanks alot for the Birth Day cake!!
Just dont ask me to look for anything cuz ill get lost although the compass might help :D
Thanks again for every one who participated and to all the orgenizers.
Great Job
