What would YOU rather do?
On May 25th there are 3 different events going on (that I know of).
The Peterborough Motor Sports Club is having a Solo Event.

Crow River Sound is having an DBDrag Sound Off

And of course there is the Import Society Drag Racing Series at St. Thomas Raceway in Sparta.

I voted for the solo cause I have been interested in this for a while and it is close but the drag souds very intriguing aswell. I have always thought Celicas should clean up in a Solo 2. I read a review once that boldly said the Celica GT-S was the best handling fwd car they had ever driven. I went for a rip yesterday in the Brealy ssfc parking lot and my oh my it was fun can't wait to get new rubber. speaking of whitch i must now go harass the guys at the Go shop.

Yes it is one of the best handling current production FWD car!
The limited edition Mazda Speed Protege will give it a good run for the money and the no longer produced Integra Type R would be the only FWD car that can outhandle the GT-S in stock format.
Non the less, take it from me the Celica's are amazing in the Autocross. The only lighter car would be the Miata, but that's in a totally different class. The Celica GT has a slight advantage of being a little lighter than the GT-S thus increasing the tossability of the car. However the GT-S has more pulling power outa corners and of course on the short straight aways.
As you can see I love SoloII / Autocrossing :D :D

Your right Mike. It is a bit of a trip. Especialy for those commin' from your neck of the deck.. If the weather was better I'd offer my place for people to pitch a Tent (I'm 10min away from the Duro Arena where the event is taking place).
