View Full Version : Simon takes 3rd in the Pro-Slalom!!!!

Congradulations :thumbup: to Simon for taking 3rd place in a very difficult and highly competetive class. Simon was the only fwd car to finish on the podium. Miatas took first and second place with their race tuned chassis. Simon's car is a stock Mazda Protege with 1.6L motor and his best mod are the sticky Hoosier tires. Incidently Simon won 3rd place in a shoot out with another Miata. Mazda's ruled this class.

Way to go Simon and nice to meet you :D

ya .. I think I'm gonna go enter the one in Peterborough for this sunday .. I know Brent said he wanted to come .. any other takers?? you have to be registered by 9.45 and they open registration at 9.15 so its a fair drive up (its around the poker run start line for those who went).

ya .. I think I'm gonna go enter the one in Peterborough for this sunday .. I know Brent said he wanted to come .. any other takers?? you have to be registered by 9.45 and they open registration at 9.15 so its a fair drive up (its around the poker run start line for those who went).

Actually I'm now thinking of doing the regionals in Picton instead. It's about 2hours from Toronto though. Suppose to be really cool, as it's on an old airfield and is ran at much higher speeds(130kph).

Hey there's almost a pic of my car there, I was lined up right ahead of Tom's "Butterscotch" Corolla, you can just see the big stupid spoiler on my Honda (that's probaly a bad word around here isn't it?)

yup, that's my Dark blue 1.5 litre (I always rub that in to Simon, I'm more of an underdog than him) Civic Sedan. Haven't seen you in ages Brent, wish I had known you were there Monday Brent... I was there 10 hours, you should see the sunburn!
