Well last weekend was the Double header for the regionals.
Both events were at the Bronte GO station which is a big lot.
Saturday Todd came out and Comp did a good job of orgenizing and running the event. A bunch of new and old corvettes came out.
It was a fun day. Really hot lots of sun and lots of fun! Course setup was very simillar to what COMP usualy holds which included a slalom section across the back of the lot heading up into a U turn which went into a loop down into a chicane and into a left into the stop box. Fun fast course With lots of excitments and lots of line choices.
Some pics from the Comp event can be found here.

The Sunday event i didnt think i would go to but i ended up getting up early and heading out. Forcast called for thundershoweres that day but it ended up being a wonderfull day. Very humid but with a storng wind it wasnt as hot however it blew alot of dust over the line which kept the course dusty all day long. The Course was ran in reverse from what comp runs. The start box was where Comp usualy has their stop and the stop was where Comp has its start. There was a long slalom which went up the lot into a U turn then into a right hand turn going into a loop that tightened and went into a straight line hitting top of secound gear downhill over a bump in the lot which caused some cars to get air (and myself on the first run have a majour spin at over 100 kph) At the end of the straight there was a stop box which was very opened so you needed minimal braking to get in and full throttel out which went into another short straight then tightened into a left turn going into a pin left turn then a tight right turn and into the stop box.
Alot of people had trouble getting a good time which gave me a chance to get close to 3rd place in class but couldent do it. Was off by half a secound from third but happy with my finnish on the secound day and the first for that matter :D
Ne way here are the pics from Sunday.
