Well boys and girls the event was officialy cancelled this morning due to the train derailment yesterday which caused over 80 cars being left at the Bronte Go station leaving no room to run a event.

oh wow! that sucks. Well on the bright side I guess I didn't miss the event then :P When is the next one your going to Peter?

The next PITL even is going to be on July 30th. IM gonna see if todays event is just cancelled or being rescedualed.

They took a vote at about 10am -

1. Run the event with a compromised course - not the best design, limited runs due to the time.

2. Reschedule the event for another time.

Vote was something like 27 to 12 in favour of cancelling and coming back another day. As I understood it, they plan on trying to reschedule. I suppose that will depend on the availability of the lot.

Ahh cool. Thanks for the clear up Todd.. I just went there at noon and saw all these cars there so i knew it was cancelled. Then i saw the post on CASC.

Hope they can get another date in there somewhere.
