I'll come out I won't be racing though. I really need a set of rims/rubber for the celica that would be good for racing.

I would have loved to come out to this but I am going to Vaughan Mills for the first time.
Next time for sure.

You know I won't move plans unless necessary. But I will try to come out soon to one of these events. Hopefully this year and before I leave to go on my vacation :giggle:

thanks for the pics brandon!
Today was a blast! I ended up starting with a 64 second run and getting a 58 by the end of the day. I think I finished somewhere in the middle of my class. Gotta check when the results get posted. Got smoked by peter and Todd but still had so much fun!

Great pics guys! Nice team effort.
It was a somewhat frustrating day. I posted my best time on my second run and then spent the rest of the day trying to figure out why I was going slower. There is something about the Powerade Centre that just doesn't agree with me. Nice to see Colin and Peter out, and I got to check out Brandon's Supra (very nice find!).
Next event is in 2 weeks back at the Powerade Centre (Sunday, August 27th) - hope to see everyone there again!

Todd i know your frustration. My best time was also on my secound run!
Spun on 3 and went too slow on 4. Doubt i would have gone faster anyway.
Great to see you guys out and having fun. Great to be out again!
See you at the next one for sure!

Damn it sucks I am still last :( myabe next time...
My 67.938 "would" have been the best if I did not stop and reverse at the end so that I will not hit the cone :( that prolly cost me 5 secs :(
But its all good, getting better :)

haha no worries man. As long as you have fun. With time you get better. Alot of the best guys started where you are
Plus its always alot harder to start with a modified car. You can be more competetive with stock when your starting in any motorsport.
A reverse on course scores you 200 secounds wich is pretty much a DNF. Thats why its better to just take the cone with you... most of the time anyway. lol :D

no worries Brian, my first event I came dead last out of everybody there! you still beat some people :) Plus I found that course a little challenging for beginners (being one). But like peter said you were getting faster so you were learning.
I'm sure in a few events I'll be trying to keep up to you!
Ya thats what Brandon told me that its a DNF...
I think I was "scared" to hit the cones, oh well guess next time I will just run-over it lol :giggle:
