Event #5 is coming up this weekend on Sunday August 27th , 2006 at the Powerade Centre in Brampton.

Anyone else going? Should be fun with only 1 more even after this.

Alright so I want to try this out. I have never done anything like this so should I just watch for the first time?

I say sign up and give it a try. Like Brandon was saying yesterday. You'll probablyend up being a high number anyways. So you can watch and do some ride alongs with people first to see what it's about.

Definately just come out and give it a try. The HADA guys assign high numbers to anyone not series registered, so you will have the opportunity to go on a ride along or two before your first run. I'll be happy to take you out on a run (car #32 - blue Celica).

Make sure you are there early, though. You will want to walk the course several times so that you know where you are going. It is also a good time to get pointers from people who have done it before.

Remember, it's your first time so you are there for fun. Don't bother comparing your times to anyone else's - just try to improve your own from run to run.

I totally agree with Todd. Just come out for the experience. Don't get caught up in being the fastest. But do come out! But be careful..... it gets addictive haha.

you can come with me for a ride along as well if you want. I'm not as fast as todd but gives you another run to see the course.

Defenatly come out to drive. Nothing like the feeling of you actually driving the course :D

Ill bring my vid camera to this one so if you guys want i can come on a ride along and get some incar videos :thumbup:

Sorry I didn't come out. I figured since it was raining it wouldn't happen. Now re-reading this thread I see it said rain or shine. Oops my bad.

If the next one is Sept 16, I won't be able to make it as I will be away on vacation.

The 2 local ones are in Brampton and Oakville. Just hop on the 407 - you'll be in Brampton in a half hour, or Oakville in 45 mins.

Ah, nevermind. I see you are in Oshawa. The good thing is, travelling across the 401 early Saturday or Sunday morning isn't really a problem.

The course was averaging 70 secounds. It had good speed to it with a fun slalom section. This course had it all. Off camber turns, Straights, Slaloms, pin turns. Some shifting oportunities. Just a fun setup.

Next Hada event is the last one of the series which will also have a Shoot out at the end! Should be exciting. So dont miss it :2thumb:
