I’d like to thank everyone who came out and participated in the Fall tour, thanks to the participation of all the local clubs it was a great success. We had well over 500 cars and I’ve received a lot of positive feedback. I have to check but it appears we raised a fair amount of money for MADD.
All in all I couldn’t be happier. I’ve posted my pictures of the event so far at http://media.c7performance.com/index.php?folder=/Signature/2006/FallTour/ if you have any pictures of the event I would REALLY appreciate if you upload them at http://www.vignando.com/upload/progress.asp just put them all into a zip file (or any type of compressed document such as cab, rar, ace etc. I pm me if you don’t know how and I can help you do this) and I can host all the pictures with full sized resolution that you can remote link to all your friends!
Pasmag also had very positive feedback about how great the event was and of course it wouldn’t have been possible to have the event with the help of Mega Auto Collision and Audio Heaven.

Awesome event. Thank you to those who made this event enjoyable. Great turnout for sure! I am glad to see that everyone was courteous of others on the road as well.
Thank you to all who donated, your generousity was much appreciated. On behalf of MADD, thank you.
Cannot wait for the next fall tour. I am sure it will be bigger and better :D Hope to see you all there again, and many more.

Congrats guys. Sorry I couldn't make it out,I had an extremely busy day.
You got lucky with the weather today, because we've had snow since Wednesday here and this morning was the first day it cleared up.
Hopefully I can roll next year with you when my truck is finished.

It was great meeting new people out today! (Even if part of the 1st group got a little lost! )
A little chilly but a lot better than snow! I was almost afraid that I would have to change into snows before the event. Seemed like the only one prepared for that was Syn! :D
Thanks to all organizers and supporters of this event! Here's hoping for next year! :2thumb:
it was fun, i had to leave early due to my bad cold. Thanks to everyone that made it happen =)

We had a great time, I just woke up! Got home at 5:30 and passed out until about 9.
Well organized and thanks to all those people that had patience at the start point. It's alot of cars to get through but for the most part it moved along smoothly.
Thanks.

I'm sorry I couldn't attend your cruise guys.. I had an accident on the way to Hurontario.. I wiped out my teg at 6:30 am on the off ramp at Kennedy and 401. I hit a patch of black ice and spun out cracked the lip and did some more serious damage. I'm cursed it seems in attending your cruise every year lol. See you next yea hopefully.. I hope to see some pics

Well C7..Ya did it again!!!!
Congrats & Props to a well planned event!
First of all, I would very much like to thank on behalf of myself and my fiance, that today was a blast. Alot of cars showed up, and even with the assistance from Mr. Nageli from KCE, the C7 Crew( Piotrov, Brandon & Lyla, and the other oganizers) a whopping big thank-you to help make this event a even more greater success than 2004. I guess it keeps gettin' better & better, each year!
Brandon - TYVM for the Pre-run Mug shot..I'll get the pics loaded asap.

Overall, I'm really glad everyone decided not to go to chruch today, and attended this event. This was annual car event could not be missed. :nono:
The run was fantastic!! Different types of scenery this year, even though the Forks were closed. But as a added delight the Caladon Badlands were such a site to see. Got some good pics as we backtracked after we left Hockley. Give us a couple of days the pics will be up.
I'm not sure what else is to be said, other than I stopped to have nice dinner with a the most gracious host and his wonderful family, props Saj!!!! :2thumb:
We arrived back home at 11:45 p.m....Kinda forgot how much driving I done today...*yawn*....and now I shall retire to bed...
NEONRACER says: " I LOVE MY BED, I LOVE MY BED!!!"
P.S .If I forgot...Lyla, Sorry I didn;t get time to chat it up, maybe next time soon, There is E-mail! ALso..Everything was smooth, I ran into Darryl at the Commons. It was decided right there, that myself and Saj would ride in with my Hometown Boyz of Good Ol' Peterpatch!! Thanks KCE!!!!!

Thanks John,
it seems alot of people roll under sometimes one or more club names... makes it difficult to choose sometimes when joining an event. Sure I am president of KCE and C7 partners with us in the Spring for our shared annual kick off event. But I was lucky enough to join C7Performance almost a full 3 years ago. They are what inspired me to start a car community in the Peterborough area. C7 is a great club with a huge amount of talented members and fantastic vehicles but to me they have always been about the people first.
KCE - Kawartha Car Enthusiasts was formed on the same principles and so far it seems to be working.
Todays event was AMAZ-ZA-ZING but any assistance from me was as a proud C7Performance member.
I am certain all the clubs today felt great to be a part of another C7 Signature event, KCE was happy to attend. :2thumb:

Awesome day everybody. No rain, a little cooler but not winter weather that's for sure. The route was great and it was easily followed. I didn't find out about this before the pre-run so I didn't have a chance to check it out before Sunday. I led the group and I don't believe anybody got lost.
Good seeing a few familiar faces but I didn't see as many as previous years unless everybody was hiding. I met a few new people as well.
Good job on the roll-out Darryl, flawless. Brendan you will have to take up voice projecting lessons for next year or bring a megaphone.
Sorry I couldn't stay around to the end but a few of us had another meet planned for the same day. Did I miss anything after we left????
It was a great day and see you all next year.

Just to clear things up. I was just there to help with garbage pickup.
I was in no way involved with orgenization or the running of the event. So big
cudos to Brandon and Lyla for puting this event together. Its a big undertaking for just the two of them to put such an event together alone.
Also great thanks to Darryl and Charles for doing a fantastic job with the rollout.
Hats off to Brandon, Lyla, Charles and Darryl for their great effort and a smooth 2006 Fall Tour!

Quote from site: Northern Ontario offers beautiful scenery in the Fall, it wasn’t a surprise that nearly 500 enthusiasts showed up to go for a Sunday drive worth remembering. The fourth Fall Tour was an enjoyable, low-key celebration of the end of the sport compact season.

lol,I don't blame him for the error of saying Northern Ontario. Once you get up and over Caledon mountain,it turns into a completely different world, especially in the winter. Even though it's only an hour north of the GTA,it is still very much so Southern Ontario, even though it feels like the boonies!
Figured I'd just chirp in since I don't live very far from Hockley. We are in a very brutal spot for winter though. We usually get socked with 3 feet of snow and blizzards while it's sunny and 5 degrees in Toronto in the middle of January. This is definetly 4x4 territory in the winter.
Can't wait to pick up the next issue of PAS to see the article. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend this year,I had previous engagements for the day. I'll be out in full force with my truck next year!

I am going to put together a video when I find the time, just too busy at the moment. It won't be anything great like Andrews in 2004, most was shot from my passengers etc. We will see...
If you want me to email you when I have it up or if anyone else wants to know then just send me your email address to admin@kawarthacarevents.com just email and say add me to the vid list.
Until then!
i could crounge something together depending how generous people are with their footage.
