Hey Everyone,

Long time no post.. Likely to be my last one for quite a while too, as the Celica will be gone by the end of the week. To be replaced by (yet another) Subaru.

Anyway, just wanted to remind everyone that the Rally of the Tall Pines is taking place this weekend (November 24th, and 25th).

The 24th (Friday) is shakedown and recce, but they are also offering a Co-Driver's school.

If you've never been to this event I'd recommend checking out the VIP tickets. It's a great deal for first timer's and has quite a few perks. Plus if the weather is OK, they will be offering Helicopter rides over the stages.

The in-class session is Thursday night, and you can drive the stages on the notes familiarization pass on Friday with the same set of notes that the drivers will be using.

I ended up going by myself. I took a few pictures and some short videos. I think the videos show every car going around one corner. No incidents, but a couple cars went so wide that the rear was practically off the road spraying spectators with dirt. They learned -- everybody took the inside on second run.
