So Peter and Todd are you guys signing up for the HADA series or CASCA (I think it's called) this year? or both? Is one any better than the other. I see that HADA has the free brakes and what not.

I wont be signing up for the CASC series. BUt will for HADA.
Pretty much the big difference between the two is...
CASC - Is a Ontario series which is hosted by clubs from all across ontario. This is the serious stuff where rules are knitpicked at and everything counts. Especialy car preperation. Some of the best compete in the series.
To win this is a great acheivement.
IMO anyway :D
HADA - Is a club series put on only by Hada. Its the same as the PITL series. ITs less serious and more for fun. Where protests are rearly and issue and when they are usualy they arent serious as its a fun and competetive series rather then as the CASC is a more higher level of competition.
Also For anyone interested and ill make a seperate post on this. CASC and the Town of MIlton will be once again putting together an event to stop street racing campaign which will be held at the Mohawk Race track in Milton on the weekend of May 12 and 13. Anyone interested should come out.
This is the weekend of the first CASC regional even at the same location.

Great thanks Peter! That helps clear some things up. I think I'll sign up for HADA this year. And maybe I might just show up for some of the CASC events. I noticed the Milton one. That one is pretty close to me so I was looking forward to that.
What's bench racing? and this will be on the day of the open house?

in all honesty i have no idea what Bench racing is.
Im not sure if the rules have changed but in the past i know that you had to be CASC series registered to participate in any CASC series event. However they were talking about changing that.. not sure if it took effect.
Todd might know better.

I believe series registration is no longer required. You don't even need to be a member of the host club any longer.

Open house was pretty uneventful. They had samosas:2thumb:. The open house was held in the shop at JRP. Saw a beautiful brand new Lotus Exige S with its engine missing. I can't even begin to recall all the engine work they are doing to it. To start, it is going from a supercharger to a turbo. Their plan is to put 450hp to the wheels. It will make it the most powerful Exige in North America (maybe even the world).
