To our valued members, C7 is pleased to bring you and your guest(s) a complimentary BBQ!!!

When: SUNDAY JUNE 22, 2003, 11AM to 4PM
Where: Toronto, Ashbridges Bay, (on the Beach!!)
Cost: None, Compliments of C7, sponsored by Visual Dynamics
What: Food & Beverages, volleyball, frisbee, football, Quick Installs, Pics
Parking: $5.00 for 5hrs 11am to 4pm (City of Toronto Enforced, $1 per hour, buy tix from machine, bring change !!


This is the event you won't want to miss. With the many many summer activities underway we want to kick off the season with a great big thank you to all our members. For those local to toronto, and those within driving distance this is THE event to get to.

Meet members face-to-face, bring your mods, and we'll help install, and get those rides shined up cuz' there'll be plenty of pic snapping taking place!!!!

New Members are welcome, and guests are welcome. At this time each member can bring two (2) guests. More details surrounding the day's events, location, and directions will be posted in the coming days.

Show us your rides, and come out and have a burger on us, and don't forget to thank our generous sponsor Visual Dynamics who will have a representative on hand to assist with product & services information.

you all may be wondering why many haven't been on keeping this thread warm. well after the bbq, we all went our seperate ways. after i dropped my g/f off at work prafull and i went to brandon's house to red-out my one tailight. after that, we all headed back down to my area for some bubble tea 8)
peter (piotrov), brent (b-gts), brandon (brandon6976), prafull (waykewl), alex (unicalex), jason (majah_flava), faisal (the pro), and myself joined in...we had all our cars parked on the side of the street, chilling with some loud music, sipping our drinks and watching everyone oogle the cars like this :shock:

photos from today's events will be linked sometime later today. on behalf of c7, we would like to thank all the members that made the effort to attend, and of course, a special thanks to platinum sponsor visual dynamics for their support.

the c7 executive management team (emt) is again hard at work planning for the next club suprises...and i can assure you, you will not be disappointed 8)

pete,what time did you and prafull go to brandon's? i was supposed to follow prafull up to his house,but i lost him after i got stuck at a redlight on lakeshore before it turns into the gardiner. then i caught up to brandon,pete and dave,and followed brandon the TD bank and then i dropped the bbq's off at his place.

Often in life the greatest thing you have is that which you have yet to even know existed. In Rain Main, Charlie Babbage(Tom Cruise) discovers he has a brother Raymond (Dustin Huffman). At first Charlie sees Raymond as an obstacle to inheriting his father's fortune but with time learns to love Raymond his mentallychallenged savant brother. Charlie has run into financial difficulties and is about to lose his exotic car dealership. As he attempts to claim his inheritance he discovers for the first time that he has a brother. At first this greatly alarms him. But he ultimately decides to take his brother Raymond on a great adventure.

Raymond has many exotic skills. He can count toothpicks as theyhit the ground and can even count cards in Poker. This skills enable Charlie Babbage to rake in the cash in Las Vegas. Raymond has many quirks that seem to drive Charlie absolutely mad. Jeporady has to be watched every day no matter what it seems. In one scene Charlie even has to knock on someone's door and ask if they can watch Jeporady because if they don't then Raymond would pitch quite a fit.

Underwear has to come from K-Mart in Cincinnati Raymond insists, and breakfast must always be the same each day. Routine it seems was Raymonds way of dealing with the world. A flight would have saved Charlie much time, but his brother insisted that planes can crash, so they absolutely have to drive the multi hour journey it seems.

In the end two brothers become closer, in spite of their differences. The story speaks to the unique nature and skills that even the seemingly dull witted almost always posess. The movie was quite long, running over three hours. While designed as a drama, it serves up comedic moments about the little idiosyncracies of life that leave logic behind, and allow the full emotions of life to be unveiled on screen in ways that logic can never explain.
