So everyone here the news? Not sure what to think.. to me it appears that they are taking the safe route and calling the 'sport compact' section of Performance World 'Darknights' since its proven itself already.

hmm that venue isn't the greatest and that show is mostly muscle cars. I guess its cool that they're trying to use their name to bring some imports.

In general I could care less. I haven't gone to a show in some time. As mentioned in the importfest thread its the same cars every show just with a couple more mods every year.

Better chance of winning in import classes i guess.
But regardless..i get a free weekend in TO...ditto!

actually.. I like that venue.. easy to get to, and free parking

but it does seem like they took the easy way... there always was a sport compact section to this show anways.

I might go check it out this year

I liked it when it was outside...

The reason why I liked it best was the sheer amount of cars...this was one show that I couldn't walk around and see every single car in less than 4 hours.

....seriously...what was wrong with markham fairgrounds?

I was so pissed off when I did up my car HOPING to get into darknights to show it off the following year ..only to realize that they canceled it 2 years in a row...

I say: make a darknights type of car show at Wasaga beach parking lot! Whos with me?

I heard Dark Nights are banned from Markham fairgrounds for some reason

^^i dont understand why. Cops made their monthly quota in just 2 days because of that show :giggle:
