Fall Tour 2008 **official update**

Hey guys,

So I know a lot of people from C7 and other clubs have been asking EMT when this year's Fall Tour will happen.

We are still in the planning stages but a date has been set and we would like to let you guys know now so that you can make it out :)

The date has been set to Sunday October 5 2008. All I can say now is that it will be in the same vicinity as last year's, but with more and fun surprises.

We are very excited about this year's Fall Tour and hope to have even a bigger turnout than years before.

More detailed information will be provided in the next few weeks so stay tuned 8) I know many people have offered to volunteer, if you are still interested please PM me and I will put your name down.

If you guys have any questions please PM either Darryl, Brandon or myself and we will be more than happy to answer them.

HOWEVER!!! I must stress this point and I will all the way and on the day of the Fall Tour..We CANNOT have any reckless driving and must obey the leader of your group. No speeding, we will not tolerate this sort of behaviour. As always, the cops will be aware of this tour so they will be out to make sure that all goes fine. So please be advised on this matter!

Not going to single any one person out on this, I have only ever expierenced people not listening and obeying rules once, I ve been a couple cruises, with TOP there is a designated leader BEFORE we leave the meeting spot, and people trying to take over, or stop the cruise is NOT tolerated. I'm saying this for the safety and respect of others these people UN-SKILLED drivers are a un-nessasary hazard and I believe it should be brought to thier attention. If it persists they should be side lined, flagged or something. They almost cost me my ride on the way to Niagara.

Jay - I understand your point but this is for all to remember that reckless driving will not be tolerated. This is something C7 have always emphasized and more so for the Fall Tour.

If you have any issues to address please PM me and I will be more than happy to answer them..but like I said this is for all to remember as we do notify the police of this event, primarily because of its size. The last two years have brought us 500+ cars...and I am thinking this year might be more..

Re-reading your post, please PM me about this situation as well and I will be more than happy to talk to you about it.

Thanks for the prompt response, its good to know its valid concern and not bithcing, I do feel like a bit of a sell out but at the same time they arent going to be standing there with 5k in their pockets waiting to pay for damage to my ish...

I'm seeing this tour advertised on a few other sites I frequent. (ottawamazda.ca and rx8club.com) Always wanted to make it out to one of these, but don't live anywhere close enough to do so lol.

We should do the tour at the west end...I think 06 was so much better than 07....Nicer cars too IMO. I mean come on there was barely any Celicas last year.
