1.) 17" or perhaps 18" rims/tires.
2.) shocks - next year.
3.) tananbe exhaust or trd.
4.) panasonic ghost deck when the price goes down to 2 bills or so.
5.) possibly finish off the interior - depends on how brandon's turns out.
6.) rear strut bar coming in this week.

I'm sorta suspension retarded .. so with a coilover kit you still need shocks?? Is coilovers just adjustable springs and you still need your own shocks ?

There's coilovers and complete coilovers. Basically the Skunk2 are springs with adjustable perches so you can change the ride height. These do not come with shocks/struts. You must add your own, be it Koni or Tokico or other.
The complete coilover kits come with springs and adjustable perchs on the shock housing. They are complete kit, so there is no guessing involved with matching springs and shocks/struts. Teins are one the more popular types for the Celi. As well this type is expensive compared just a sleeve type like the Skunk2's.

ahh thanks .. I was wondering. I knew I heard something about coilovers being a replacement for it all

Yeah basically with Tein's you are looking at about $1800.00 + taxes which like Brent said includes the springs/shocks combo.
You are looking at about $600.00 + taxes for Skunk2 coilover sleeves and another $1000.00 + taxes for Koni shocks so there isn't a whole lot of difference pricewise.
The question still remains as to what setup is better between the 2..

Mods....... hmmm... I'm trying to cool it this year as I have other things to hopefully purchase this year.
But if money wasn't an issue, I would be going for the following
17" OZ or BBS wheels with Pirelli P-Zero
16" Stock rims will be wrapped with Khumo race rubber for the track.
Complete Coil-over kit from Tein or TrueChoice 8)
Swaybars... front and/or rear.... depends on the setup.
Tear out the rear seats and cover it with carpet.
New Deck and possibly a custom built amp.
Interior trim upgrade(undecided on painting or a carbon fibre replacement)
.... there's more but I'm a too tired to think much more tonight.

Wow! I didn't realize the Skunks were that $$$.
Scott are you planning on driving your ride at max slam with those? If you are, I think you'll run into problems with the Koni shocks not having enough travel and you'll be bouncing around everywhere. But if it's just slammed to the ground during car shows, then no need to worry :D

Yeah actually I think they are $600.00 tax included Howard said.. I got mine a bit cheaper luckily! :D
But yeah as far as the drop goes I guess even the Koni's are only meant to support a 2" drop and they are the best shocks available. So like you said I am just going to have a 2" drop for every day use and come showtime I'll have wheel tuck!

I guess it all depends on the cash flow.
So far I have purchased: Injen RD CAI, Progress Springs, Bat's Red OutOverlay, xenon bulbs and a JVC 707 Mp3 deck.
I also have dibs on Grants APC Strut Bar and s2K antenna... TRD exhaust is being ordered this week as well...
I plan on changeing my LED's and climate control colours to shine red like my new deck... I want to pick up some subs and a decent amp to have a little more thump in the celi...
As for performance: I have heard about a high flow cat converter, which I would like to learn more about, flywheel and LSD would interest me as well... And of course if a turbo or supercharger comes along at the right price I will pick one up and then do the whole nine yards...
As for suspension: once the shocks go, Tokico blues or Koni Yellows...
Thats about all I can think of right now....
