**Fall Tour 2009**

Hello all,

Sadly the summer is coming to an end, which means winter is not too far away. However, before winter comes along, there is one exciting event coming up in the fall.

I know a lot of you have been asking about the Fall Tour for some time now. We are very excited about this event as well and are looking forward to a large attendance this year. Thus, we, the EMT of C7Performance are proud to announce Fall Tour 2009.

This highly anticipated event will occur Sunday October 25th 2009. Registration has started, so click on the link provided and register yourself. As well, you will find a link for the waiver that needs to be filled out for the day of the Fall Tour. It is imperative that this waiver be signed and ready to hand to one of the C7 organizers before leaving to start the route. So please be courteous, if you do not have it filled out before leaving, you will be holding up the rest of the line.

Pre-run with EMT of C7 and 1-2 representatives of each car club will occur prior to the Fall Tour. The date for the pre-run is Sunday October 18 at noon. We would like for a representative from each club to come to the pre-run so that we can discuss the day of the tour and any other imperative issues. Please email lyla@c7performance.com once you have chosen your representative. We would like to know no later than Wednesday October 14.

As well, cars will leave with their club, so please stay with your club. There will be a few minutes delay between each club leaving the starting point onto the route, so please be patient. Maps of the route will be given the night before as we do a final prerun on the Saturday to ensure no construction is happening, so please be patient with this. It will as well be given the day of the Fall Tour.

Now we are hoping for a huge number of participants for this year. However, we need to emphasize something. As members of car clubs, we need to show the community we are serious about safety. Recklessness will not be tolerated at all at this event. That being said, the police are aware of our event and the tour details. Reckless driving will not be tolerated so please keep this in mind the day of the event.

Starting point will be at the AMC lot at Thickson Road and 401, however we will be parked at the area near AMC and Milestones,so start planning your meeting points. Endpoint will be at Kawartha Speedway.

That being said we do have access to the track again as the number of feedback we had received was huge. You will be responsible for bringing your own helmet, however loaner helmets will be provided at the track. The helmet required to participate MUST be Snell 2000 or higher rated. Waivers will be provided to sign for racers, as well each racer will need to pay $2 for the race but all money will go towards MADD. For those who will not be racing you are more than welcome to spectate the races and cheer on.

When you click on who's coming, there is a blurb at top of the table showing who is coming. Click on where "here" is hilighted and it will show you the listings of the clubs

Guys - I know this year's Fall Tour is a bit later than normal and it was due to schedule conflicts. And it was a decision of either canceling the Fall Tour this year or having it still happen. I decided to have it still happen cause I know far too many people look forward to this event and so I would rather not disappoint the majority.

The list is looking amazing and weather is looking great for the 25th! I personally cannot wait for this event as I am sure a whole bunch of you guys cannot either :D

Just wondering, is the route going to be the same as last years? I remember some of the roads having some pretty big holes, which wasn't too big of a deal if you went really slow, but just wanted to know if some of the route has been revised or not? Thanks!

Jordan - apparently Bucattis have been selling in Canada since 07 it's just so rare that we see one. And it's a huge opportunity to get to see one in person! :)

Tim - normally every year C7 comes in a group convoy and they are usually the first to arrive so there is never any issues with where to park. Besides myself and Brandon will be at the starting point pretty early so just park near us and the rest of C7 will follow suit as they do each year :)

Tom - route is pretty similar to last year's and the roads are fine as long as we drive at the correct speed. Remember these are back roads so they are not as smooth as normal roads, and we have to just drive with caution.

It is not a race to the end, the Fall Tour is meant to be a cruise where everyone can enjoy the scenic views before winter hits :)

Great tour guys. Had to split after getting there, but the scenery was great... Can't say much other than I was rather dissapointed in some of the driving that I saw from other participants (unnamed driver passing me through a solid line during a blind bend; almost sure suicide if it was oncoming traffic).... But other than that. lots of fun.

Kinda wish I had waited an extra week before swapping out the summer rubber. Would have been interesting to see what the Impreza would have done to the track..

Had lots of fun hopping from place to place (knowing the route ahead of time helps) to take pics of the other folks. I'll try and have them uploaded to Brandon shortly.

All in all great event! Good fun, low key. All about the cars (too cold for chicks in mini-skirts.. LOL!).

I have to say I a quite suprized at what a good time this was and how well organized this event was. To see 400+ cars be moved with such eaze is amazing. Great organization, sorry about the starting line up mix up!! I shot the messenger haha! First time on that oval track was definatly fun and an added bonus onto an already amazing day!

I/we Cannot wait for next years and definatly see what all the hype is about.....Great times guys, thanks again!
