This past weekend was the WCMA South Alberta Event;

Combined times for the weekend (Sat and Sun) I placed 1'st in D Street Prep. In our club they group C and D Street Prep together for points, on combined RAW times I placed 4th and in PAX times I placed 2nd in C and D grouped together. PAX index for C is 0.860 and D is 0.838

Here are a few pics.

Nice pics man! How many people are in your street prepared class?

Not sure on how many in this event, I'll have to weight until the results are posted. All I know is there were 5+ in D SP and another 5+ in C SP. We actually got a really low turn out for the, 61 or 62.

Which I think is the lowest ever for this event, the weather bad kept everyone away. In fact on Sat. I only got 2 runs in the semi-dry, the other 2 were when it was raining and we had standing water, the temp never hit above 12. I was running on my Kumho 712 street tires for saturday because it was so cold and crappy. Sunday it was dry most of the time with a little bit of sprinkeling every once and a while but was still really cold (14 celcius). I ran with my Hoosiers on sunday but they never got even close to tempeture. I'm quite happy with my results especially since I'm running an extremely stiff setup with the the braces, poly bushings, Hotchkis Sway bars, Tein HA's, and low profile tires. My car handles and performs amazing in the hot and dry but is all over the place in the cold and/or wet.

As for outside this event, at the for the CSCC (calgary sports car club) there are 11 cars in D SP that I race against in my class, and then there are another 5 cars in C SP which they group D SP with. Under the CSCC rules they don't put PAX on the cars in groups, they run them against each other on RAW times, so right now I'm in 3rd place out of 16 in the CSCC standings behind two C SP guys sharing the same car, which is a civic they have purpose built for solo 2. If you put C SP and D SP into their own seperate categories I'd be 1st out of 11 in D SP..

Gotta love those guys with purpose built cars. We have a couple guys with the older rear wheel drive Corolla GT-S and they simple destroy the likes of me! One guy even tows his car to the SoloII events!

I'm in BSS which one step below your D SP I believe....
We have SS which is super stock and than street prepared, if I do any suspension mods(other than shocks/struts) they bump me too street prepared :-(

Keep posting the pics and the articles. Cograts again on the placing and motivating me to become a better driving with my Celica. :D
