well what can i say, I'm a UK Celi owner (gen 7).
I'm a moderator at www.celica-club.co.uk so pop over to see us there. :wink:
Always good to see another site were we can all help each other out and swap info to make our cars even better than they allready are.
Now time to read all the posts so far :shock:

I'm VERY currious to find out why the English 2ZZFE engine gets 190HP, where as our version only gets 180.. My guess is the Crappy gas we use.. :|
Anyway, fantastic to have you aboard! I love some of the custom Forced induction system I've seen out England. Defininatly would be interested in finding out more.

Yes I must admit I recognise many of the names from various other boards and of course you veilceli! as you were very helpfull on the veilside questions! (thanks again)
In the end about 6 guys went for the original veilside kits as AFS who were doing the copies kept mucking us around. As you can see from my sig I lost patience and went an alternative route in the end.
At preent were all preparing our cars for the next club meet down on the south coast of the UK. We have 43 cars confirmed as attending (hotels booked etc.) and are hoping for a few more to join in nearer the time. (15th March)
We have a fully s/charged (custom) 140 (your GT) but no one has yet gone this route with the 190, I think were all awaiting the outcome of other projects, mainly in the US to see which would be the easiest and most reliable option.
Has anyone in Canada either s/charged or Turbo'd a GTS with much success yet?

naw I think the only forced induction people have used in Canada is nitrous so far.

yeh we have a couple who have tried NOS. usually with 50 jets, as going further requires so much extra cash for diff and engine work etc.
Loads of talk about various methods of lowering the lift point on the 190 but most of it seems to be just that...talk :roll:

Stephens isnt s/charged yet, it's Simon's (CelicaUK)
he set up Celica-Club UK and also runs his own tuning business called 'Japspeed' he supply's superchargers, custom CAI's and all that type of stuff, so he's a great source of info for the club.
Even though Stephen isnt s/charged (yet) he has done a great deal to his celi, with much more planned for the future.
