Sunday Jan. 11 - North York LED Install/Chill Meet

angus (skunkiller), resident led expert, has agreed to open up his condo's entertainment facilities for our use this sunday afternoon (say 2pm). while we enjoy his facilities which include: "bowling/snooker/virtual golf/table tennis/table hocky/majohn /watching TV/use internet in my condo's recreation centre", angus will be working on our gauges upstairs. for those that are unfamiliar with the led mod, think of your stock guages that are in orange...angus can make them glow red, blue or white instead. takes about 45mins to an hour for one piece, so in the end a good afternoon.

price varies depending what you want done, so feel free to pm angus yourself for a quote. post up if you are coming and/or want to do an led conversion.

btw angus lives in north york, just a few blocks north of me (ten ren's). he can post the exact location 8)

since Blue Needles will affect the color of gauge face due to our painted gauge face(orange --> purpleish blue)
my custom OEM gauge OR indiglo gauge is recommanded.

Am I correct to assume that is the Blue LCD, Needles, and Custom Gauge Face combo? How difficult is it to remove the parts from the car so you can work on them? E.g. could I come there, do it in the garage quickly/easily, and bring the parts to you? Thanks!

if u could take off the gauge cluster from ur ride, that'd save me 15 min. :wink:

As long as ur gauge use LEDs to light up, not bulbs. conversion is possible.

I'll bring 4 Celi on the mod list to the underground parking one by one with my access card so I can have a warm place to take off ur gauge cluster. All visitors r welcome but underground visitor parking r limited. :sad:However, parking on street or at Dominion's underground parking lot should be fine on Sunday tho. 8) Bring ur PS2 or Xbox and games if u want, 2 TVs r available. :wink:

I think 7 hrs is VERY long to wait....But, the work quality is GRRRRRREAT!! :thumbup: The blue gauge face, LCD and red E-shift LEDs turned out really well. But, it was a little hard to enjoy it more in the middle of the snow.

I'll try and see if I can get one of my friends to snap a pic of the mod, since I also don't have a digi-cam. :sad:
