I'm just trying to decide if I should get the following items:

Injen intake...most likely SRI
16" GTS rims or some other 17" rims
Springs

I want to but my car is leased and I am not sure if I want to go through the trouble of trying to sell the parts when my lease is up. Don't get me wrong, I love the Celica but I don't plan on buying the car out when the lease is up.

Suggestions?

I would say the short ram and Rims are easily changed and can be sold. Springs can be pricey to install/remove .. might be worth just leaving them on the car when you give it back.

when does your lease expire?

yes i agree with brandon. everytime you add/remove suspension pieces you need an alignment and they cost about 100$.
intake is a good start. if you are to get rims, don't get gt-s rims if you are driving a gt. (nothing personal). it just doesn't work (sorry to be blunt  ). go aftermarket 17's instead!

but yeah, intake for sure would be my #1. sounds good and you can feel a gain.

yep also exhausts are good.. you can bolt them on and off with ease.

when does your lease expire?

In May 2005.

I don't want the GTS rims so I can be a "poser". I just kind of like the style of them. To get 17" & tires will probably cost me at least $1500 depending on brand and new or used.

If I get 17" rims and tires, I will have to lower my car or it is going to look stupid. That will cost me about another $500?

Exhaust I already have. Intake does sound good.

I kind of promised myself not to mod the car. That is why I bought the Panasonic edition in the first place. Now that spring is approaching, the "modding bug" has already started

Okay, if you wanna mod, then go for a sound system. Easy to remove and reuse in your next car. A very.... sound investment(hahar, I crack myself up) :slap:

double post !!! lol ..

anyhow thats cool .. the Short ram should be cool.

also one thing I LOVE on my car is tinting my windows .. obviously won't get your money back on that one but makes such a difference in the summer and it looks sharp.

 Me too! First antenna, then some lights and air freshner and then an exhaust when the car only had about 50km on it.

 Not after what happened to my previous car. I had about a $3000 sound system in 93 (which was a lot of money back then) and it got broken into. After that, I promised myself never to upgrade another sound system in my car. Another promise? :giggle: I don't know which was worse. That my system was stolen or that my wires were hanging out everywhere. I felt so violated

I don't know how I double posted but thanks for deleting it and not making me look like an idiot.

Intake is starting to sound better and better right now.
