Really? I thought his looked more of a beige/brown colour when I saw them, he might have repainted.

Yes it will look good and if you don't like the colour and choose back there is a member Burrcold on Celispeed that wants his done in gunmetal so you could give him yours in trade for his and have them done in black - of course he'd owe you what you paid Grant.

That's of course only if you decide you'd rather black.

Hey Grant,

I have HID's on my car, do you think it would be affected in anyway if I get the the headlights painted gun metal? I don't think it will but just asking because I want my headlights painted. Let me know thanks.

actually HID's are better to have .. even though they are brighter they are lower temperature so I'm not 100% sure I understood the question but the paint will definately hold up better on HID's than normal Halogen

edit: also welcome to the site. Good to have you here

yup, it won't be a problem at all as the piece that is painted has nothing to do with the bulbs or lenses!

just let me know when you have 3-4 hrs to spare and we can work something out

Hey Grant any chance I can see your car in person with the headlights? Also do you prefer to paint the headlights in warmer weather or does it not matter. I wouldn't mind doing it next weekend. Let me know or email me with your number at ben-lo@rogers.com and we can work something out.
