Me too - likely Saturday as well. Any idea how to get free or reduced price passes? It's priced at $18, which is making me sort of 50/50 on going.....if it were cheaper, I'd be more likely to go.

Me thinks they are making it just a BIT too close to the Autoshow..

But yeah! If I'm able to go it will be on Saterday also! :D

I hear the weather is supposed to suck though, and I have DEFINATLY had my fill of driving through winter storms..

not sure how i'm getting back down. i suppose i can get joyce to bring me. the weather is looking decent on saturday. high of 4. flurries/rain. flurries aren't a problem with stock tires...when it says "light snow" or "snow" then its a problem.

I'd hook you up if you come to my place and we go from here in 2 cars...then we can head back into town to meet everyone else...as long as the weather isn't too nuts..

Any particular location in mind for the meet guys? Perhaps a big-parking-lot for a pre-show meet and greet, and then a tour down alla convoy (I love convoys) :D

Meeting at the show is going to be pretty difficult. I think that this is going to be a pretty big event.

Just for those that are interested, this is a combination car show.

- Old Classics
- Modded Trucks
- Import SHowcase (mmmm.. Ms. Asia pagent on Friday)
- Audio Thunder.

I've been surprised by the lack of advertising, but I think based on how many years this event has been running for, and the individuals that DO know about it, they don't HAVE to. :)

Convoy would be cool. Its a little harder to do in Toronto. Everyone would have to know where they're going as some people would most likely get split somehow

Even a quazi convoy would be fun..

A common meet point before the show would give us a chance to meet each other and look at cars before we go an get distracted with shiney things.. :D

Just a thought..

Although I like Waykewl's idea too.....

If I might make a suggestion.

Pete's place is KEWL and VERY easy to find. But it SUCKS for parking, and I'd love a chance to meet any of the newbies that want to come out and hang. Very low key, all invited (Celi's, Civi's, 'rola's, Taco's, ITR's, Mazda's) just good fun.

Could we move it up the street and use the Centerpoint Mall as a gathering point? Perhaps gather at 4:15 and leave at about 5:00? Or is that too far/long?

I'm a country boy!! I know T.O. bairly at all! :D

I suggested it 'cause it's easy..

Drive up young street untill you hit the centerpoint mall.. It's on yer left.. :)

It's a bit of a drive through traffic though, and would take us away from our final destination. Perhaps the Collusous Theater? Anywhere that has a big assed (free) parking lot. :D
