Well today Brent, Mark and I went over the Poker run tour and let me tell you it was a blast even tho i was way behind cuz of my suspension!
I got a chance to take some pics tho cuz i was going slow!
Mind you some of them are crappy as for the better ones all i got was the wiper blade (it was raining all day long).

It was alot of fun.. Great roads! Big :thumbup: to Mark for the road choices! excelent! It was a really fun day even tho the rain put a bit of a damper on the mood but driving was still great!

yea.. too bad the mine is filled with water.. would have loved to see how deep 550 feet really is.. The water coverd about 400 feet of the bottom.

quite the opposite joon! anyone from c7 is welcome to participate. its not how fast one's car is, its about navigation (basic map reading skills) and just going out for a fun drive and picking up some prizes along the way!

Actualy going over the speed limit is not the idea and its not promoted especialy if you want to win :D
You have to remember that these are public roads and there is other traffic on them even tho it dont seem like it.

The point with this isn't the type of car you have, or how much money you have invested. It's just.. plain... fun... An excuse to get out and drive on some interesting roads and have fun.

So long as your car can do 78-80km/hr then you can participate!
Last year we had a 47 Chev come out.. :thumbup:

You 'can' do this run without a navagator. The directions and route are intentionaly as simple as possible. BUT, a Nav makes it more fun, and less stressful.

I'm sure if you want to come out, you'll have NO problem picking up a passenger.. :thumbup:

we have a poker run out here on pei only with boats and it's an awesome time. You load the boats up with people going from dock to dock getting the cards, lots of beer, if you get hungry you just barbeq, and if you get too hot just jump in and go for a swim. It's alot of fun

Oh man, I can't wait. I'm already excited. The roads look great mark! the Bridge is a nice touch.

And for sure, you don't need a "performance" car for this. These are all public roads, there is no off track driving, and THERE IS NO RACING. We're just cruising around. That's why we're collecting cards, instead of times.

Beautiful Picturesk Marmora.. The road is just outside of the village limits on Hwy #7..

Back in 'the day' I used to take my ATC up and around the slag-heaps, and down to the water's edge. That water is SO blue it's scary. Looks just like those scenes from tropical beaches..

There are quite a few mines around that area. Most no longer active.

I want to be in the poker run for sure so count me out. It's all about the nephew, making his day makes my week.

This kid knows cars like no other 11 year old and its fun to see him be serious about things. That's why I really want him to be my navigator, to show him he can do. Doesn't matter if we win but it would be nice. You couldn't give this kid anything he already doesn't have.

Though roads are actually pretty friendly... all paved, just gotta watch the occasional rut... all in all I would say the shitty roads in T.O. are in worse condition. Brandon and Pete, both have lowered Celicas with Body Kit's adn they ran it last year with no probs.

yeah last year ran it with lowered and kit...no problems.
was crazy insane fun!
