Poker run side Topic, decals, concerns and such

As you may already know this has been posted to celispeedc as well by Brandon..I've added the following...please consider dropping by the other board to show your interest in the event...the more both of these local threads develop the greater numbers we're looking at...and don't forgetr..the time will come to put your money where your mouth is (so to speak) so get prepared for that...

Needless to say there we have signifigant interest from the C7 Perfomance club, so we are all looking forward to seeing lots of Celispeed cars out that day!!!!!!

By the way..this is gonna be video taped...so don't forget to consider decals, car numbers, and let's really make this Peterboroughs version of a mini-gumball type event...

lol .. thats just waykewl being funny .. there is a race called the gumball .. its essentially same idea as we're doing .. he was mentioning we should sticker up and look like they did .. tomorrow I'll take some shots from the DVD and post em .. very nice cars ..

If you want to sticker up your car .. if not its no big deal .. I'm probably gonna have some decals but nothing I didn't want before the rally

Im asking just because
i was looking through alot of the Japanese sites and saw that when they go to race tracks they have made up white plastic bags with number printed on it and taped it on just for the track time.

but electrical tape would be fine i think.

yeah I dunno .. I think it would be better for everyone to think about just normal vinyl .. if you go to somewhere like pac mall its usually under $5 to get a decal made up. I'd be willing to do one large purchase if everyone wants to agree on something

Please don't use tape on the celica. I don't want to see anyone damaging their car with glue or something

so anyone who wants some decals and numbers we can get the decals 3 weeks or so before hand to give em time make em and get in all the orders so think of your numbers # :D

Glue soft cotton cloth to back of sheet.

what's yer problem with the tape? Come on,I have black electrical tape on my front bumper taking the place of black paint! Right from the left side to the right side! I think I did a good job too. :D

The paint quality on the 2000+ Celica's is BRUTAL.. Hardly a paint covering at all. So thin and brital that BUGS hits are enough to take it off.
