Meet and Greet June 3rd!

Hey Everyone,

We haven't had a good 'ol meet and greet in a while. Just a chill and talk sort of thing. Very informal. We've got a lot of new members who we haven't met in person. I'd encourage them to come on out. I can't wait to see all the fresh summer rides.

York Mills and Leslie st. (NE Corner)

-Big Parking lot, McDonalds, Quizno's, Bubble Tea, and Second Cup, etc.
-Had a good meet there last year

Looks like we have a lot of interest. Those who don't want to show due to non-kittage, don't worry, come on out. It's not a fashion show, it's a meet and greet.

For the people who expressed an interest in having a meet like this on the weekend. We'll organize the next one so that you can be accomodated. My only objection to the weekend, is that I'm always out doing something. During the week, after dinner I'm just watchin T.V., so I'd much rather be out hanging with you guys.

Anyway, I'll update the first post with the interested parties, and a map. Hope some more of you decide to come out. Looks like we're going to get a great turn-out. Should be good. 12-13 people!!!

Sean, you need to take the 404 south to the 401. 401 west to Leslie. Leslie south to York Mills. OR, you can drive down the dvp to the Lawence exit head west over to leslie, and drive back up a block (north).

I'll be there at 8. Some of us older guys have to work in the morning :) I'm sure we'll have a decent crowd by then, but we'll wait for the late comers.

Never actually tried crazy sushi but the other sushi place is awful. Got sick from the food and the Bloor Street Diner is pretty good. Either than that the other places are ok not something I would recommend though.

Brent - no on Fridays evenings it's CRAZY!!! I have no idea why people act the way they do there. It's too funny. I stay away from that area on Fridays.

John - I may come depends on some things. And Becki is super busy with work that's why she is not on a lot.

My friends parents own the crazy sushi there~
its not a bad place at all, pretty classy (modern classy, not jap vintage) and the food aint too shabby at all.

A great place for ppl to try sushi for the first time~! :D

Holy cow, list of attendee's updated on the front page. Looks like a killer turnout if everyone shows! Guess everyone was ready for a meet. Weather looks great (knock on wood).

Ron: there's all sorts of stores around there to eat at. You could even run across the street to kelseys, or a firkin around the corner. There's a jack Astors just down the ST. etc. We won't let you starve

Morgan: I donno man, it specifically says meet and greet. Perhaps we'll make some exceptions for you.

That was an incredible turn out guys. We had 20 cars show, and I think everyone had a pretty good time. Best part is it went off without incident, except for a guy in a m3 who thought he was cool. But hey, even people in nice cars are haters :)

Cudos to everyone for keeping it cool. No excessive noise etc. I'm sure that's why we didn't have any problems. But that's what we'd expect at a C7 meet. Classy club!

Anyway, thanks to everyone who came out. It was good to see everyone again, and it was good to get out. We'll try and make this a little more regular once our evenings start staying warm...
