John Kerry concedes to Bush and will give a speech within the hour. Apparently only 18% of Canadians surveyed were in favor of George.

Wow we are that much different!

Oh well we are all entitled to our own oppinions and although Bush will prosper for the next uhhhhh duhhhhh 4 years. I feel sad for the future of Americans under his guidance.

It's probably a good thing for us Canadians because our dollar will probably be worth more then the US soon.

What are you gonna ruin next George?

Any predictions people? Once again its just my oppinion and the very same day that 911 happened I was told a whole slew of crap I didn't believe but it ALL came true.

Something is very, very wrong that people like that are allowed to operate the way they do and no one will stop it. Middle and lower class Americans have just been doubt a bad hand for the next 4 years.

People care more about immediate stuff like that it seems

Actually, a high $CDN hurts our exporters dramatically - e.g. the relative cost of our products appears higher. Since Canada is a net exporter, and the U.S. is our primary trading partner, the high $CDN is not all that good.

Now mind you, if you're planning to travel abroad, particularly to places that deal in $USD, you'll be much better off....

Take a look at the states that voted for Bush and Kerry.
Kerry got all the business states, the ones that drive the economy, such as California, Washington, NewYork, Illinois, Massachusetts
Bush got all the middle states.. like FLA, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas
Almost like a civil war! Farmers vs Technology.

You got me! Going to Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas for Christmas. Leave the 19th and come back the 26th.

I dig the high dollar right now.

I think it is time for a female President.

makes me glad to be Canadian.

the U.S. is a very divided country politically right now.
It's pretty much a North vs. South thing.

Bush better find a way to gain the trust and support of all those Kerry supporters.

kerry was just gonna rollback tax cuts for the highest income tax braket (2-3% of the US population)
