OK, here goes my 1/4mi...
on Sunday some friends and I went to St. Thomas dragway for some runs.
My best was 12.906 sec. @ 106 mi/hr :)
I'm very happy with the car... finally in the 12s.
AFAIK I now have the fastest GTFOUR in the world (out of the onces that have been posted) with a stock fuel setup (stock computer and injectors) :P

That's awesome Les!
When I first watched it, I was like, dam that Talon is holding on well... and then I figured you would start pulling away, but it was really close! That must of been a good rush!!

That Talon is a friend's of mine and it has plenty of power too!
I screwed up the reaction time royally - a laughable 1.02 sec :( but I think we came in dead even... but as a pat on my own back i managed a 0.502 sec reaction on another run!

So say if you had a perfect reaction time of 0.0, your actual 1/4mile time would've been 11.9s instead of 12.9s?
Sorry I've never gone to the drag strip so I don't know the details.

i think a perfect reaction time is .500 isn't it ?? or something like that .. I'm sure someone more experienced at the track will chime in :D

.500 is as good as it gets and it doesn't count in the final 14mi ET time

Just splitting this off to keep the 1/4 mile tidy!
I thought I saw you behind me last night Les, but it was too dark to see if there was a hood scoop.
Turns out it wasn't you. I could tell cause you weren't using the paved shoulders to pass everyone :) :) :)
