http://www.bsa.com.my/fproduct.htm

Product manufactured by a company less than 7 years old...and with a small following...

Not necessarily a bad thing, but not very well known, or widely in use either...you should be able to pick these up for VERY cheap....prolly heavy too...but they look nice...and if in good condition it might be worth a buy...

I'd take'm for winter tires :D ...if your going 17" you might as well get a lighter rim...these look pretty weighty...

okay. i made up my mind. damn you guys for this
i e-mailed most of the canadian rim retailers. they all say enkei does not make the shoguns any more and thus they can't order/sell them.

if by some act i come across the 17" shoguns, i will pick them up. otherwise, i'm going 18" 8) looking at photos and real life images, 18" is the way to go. 17"s look to close to stock 16" 8)

what about your post on
http://forums.c7performance.com/viewtopic.php?t=125

you wrote that place has the momo rims

Pete00
01-27-2003, 09:07 PM
oh yeah forget about them thanks :D
just called them up. sort of sketch but he says he has the same model in 17". 345 per rim, so about 1380$ for rims.
hmm what do you think?

how much is it for the average 17" ??

Pete00
01-27-2003, 09:20 PM
not sure. but buying a wheel/tire package would usually be cheaper.

the celica bolt pattern is 5x100. would a 5x114.3 bolt pattern fit the celica? b/c the momo wheel is called the "twin" and is a 5x114.3 bolt pattern and 38 mm offset.

I wouldn't think so .. I that that 5x100 has to be that .. I know the offset can vary a little. But I could be wrong.

I know with the momo rims I was looking at came in like 20 different sizes did the place just say it only available in those sizes or just what they had listed?

can you go here and tell me if these will fit on the celica?
http://www.bsa.com.my/wheels/215.htm
size: 17x7
offset: 35mm (will that work?)

thanks. may be able to get these for $600 cash w/ tires...almost bald tires though.

Prafull Koli
01-31-2003, 12:27 AM
yeah they fit...they come in both 35 and 40mm offset... and I know a place where u can get 17" khumo's for about $100 a tire...a good rubber too...I like that rim!

Pete00
01-31-2003, 12:28 AM
100$/tire? interesting...

so if it is 35 mm offset, the handling/car won't be affected? stock specs are 39mm.

the guy is selling for $600 but he doesn't know the offset or the model lol...i had to go look for it myself.

Prafull Koli
01-31-2003, 12:31 AM
that's not good...u need a 40 mm offset over the 35...they make those 2 sizes for a reason...careful ...buyer beware petey boi...

Pete00
01-31-2003, 12:36 AM
hmm how would i go about finding out?
he doesn't even know himself.

Prafull Koli
01-31-2003, 12:37 AM
is the guy local?

Pete00
01-31-2003, 01:22 AM
yep gta.

Prafull Koli
01-31-2003, 01:37 AM
u could bring the rims (even 1) into a local wheel shop (green& rosss) and they could measure the offset...no big deal..

Pete00
01-31-2003, 01:43 AM
thanks for another great tip

Pete00
02-01-2003, 12:38 AM
alright he found out the offset is 40!
he's asking $600 for the rims/tires. good deal as is.
told him i can give him $550 sunday or monday night. hopefully he'll bite. if not i'll go with $600!!

i can taste em now! (but then i still need to get tires. if i pick these up it will be go by march for sure) 8)

silver. no way in hell i'm going chrome 8)

I think its just that is way more noticable since you have a ReALLY shiny surface a dull part that is got a scratch (or even dirt) is way more visable.

Prafull Koli
02-01-2003, 01:04 AM

Pete00
