he's right. the cf hood and body kit will balance each other out
if you want to save weight, don't get a kit 8)

its probably very expensive .. Also if you want to get CF cause you want performance DO NOT get VIS .. its just a line layer of CF over a sheet of fiberglass. Its not that much weight savings AND its just as fragile as any hood.

A TRUE CF hood will be light and if its 100% cf it will be almost indistructable

What do you think about the one Howard is selling? $629.00 is reasonable I think... or is that one a POS? Don't know much about CF hoods...

Also I dont think the WW kit is serious weight... How much can a poly lip weigh? Also the sides are replacements for the OEM ones and the rear valace should not weigh that much...I was most worried about killing my aerodynamics with a different front bumper...How much could it add?

hehe trust me a kit isn't going to weight you down much. Depending on the lines it might wreck your aerodynamics .. As for Howards hood I dunno. I mean its a good price but as for quality it would depends on who makes it. If you want to see a quality hood go to http://www.fiberimages.com/ and checkout their videos. It Shows what a 100% CF hood can put up with.

i'm not sure how much extra weight the ww kit is. however, prior to my kit being painted, i had a chance to feel and lift the pieces...quite heavy i was suprised.

i would think that for aerodynamics, the real trd front would work. i think that toyota and all manufactures test the car's aerodynamics in a wind tunnel. i'm not too sure though, this is what i believe. someone please correct me if i'm wrong 8)

just have all your stuff ready in the spring so we can go videotape your races :P
