What do you think about the show? I kind of like it, seems pretty informative. This week's show had some guy with a 5th gen Prelude with only intake, header and exhaust; the guy expected 190whp on the dyno. :roll: He was a little disappointed when his baby only made 156whp.:lol: That's about the same as a stock Prelude.lol

Yeah, I saw that one too. Isn't it a Canadian show? I've noticed some sponsors were actually many dealerships around Hamilton, Toronto area. I saw this modded Neon that had like 230horses...or more at the dyno.

Yep it's CDN :D 2 of the guys also do "Dream Car Garage" which is mostly old muscle cars, but they also test some newer high performance machines. The bigger guy Tom was an instructer at the SoloII school I went to a few years back.

Yeah, some of the mods they did was pure JDM stuff. I couldn't believe they actually spend the time and money to put a pair of Toda cams, Toda valve springs, and Toda header on a Type-S. To top it off, in the next show they installed a Mugen kit on the car too. :drool:

I think Dave needs another Honda :giggle: How bout S2000..... 8) or better yet a slightly used NSX :drool:

No thanks, I picked the Celi for the reason that there's NA mods for it. I wouldn't be able to hold out if I have another car, ie WRX. :P

yeah it's a pretty good show since they cover the gamut of our hobby... from imports to old school domestics... I like the idea of the KIA vs Porsche project where they are gonna make the Kia wagon a capable track car and the Porsche 911 a comfy everyday car...

the RSX project is cool too since they are using some JDM stuff as mentioned and they back it up with dyno runs to prove the results...

I started laughing when that Prelude owner wished for 190whp! Mandy didnt get why until they stated he only had I/H/E... I've seen what it takes to get the H22 to that power and you basically need every bolt on there is but cams make the most difference... there is definitely something wrong with his setup if he only got less than what a stock H22 is supposed to put out (which is 160ish WHP)
