To all the members that are interested in a Show n' Shine, please read this:

On September 18, 2004, they were able to host their 1st Annual Show n’ Shine at Guelph’s Correctional Center ball fields. The show was a complete success. Over 250 vehicles registered with a spectator audience of over 1500 people. Making Guelph Racing’s show one of the best first year turnouts in South Western Ontario.

This year they are relocating to a bigger show field and they are very excited to announce and expected turnout of over 400 vehicles, 100 exhibitors and more than 4000 spectators. Their show will be held on Saturday Aug 20, 2005 from 9am-9pm. Hosted at Marden Park located on Wellington 30 just west off Hwy 6 North. Guelph Racing is also pleased to announce that their show will include live entertainment, door/raffle prizes, and competitive team events, with hopoff & SPL competitions. All proceeds from this show will be donated to Red Cross, a non-profit organization that has responded to over 4 million victims worldwide, in recent years. How much it cost? Here are the rates:

Show n' Shine Only $20.00----------------------------$15.00 (club rate)
SPL Only $15.00----------------------------------------$10.00 (club rate)
Outlaw Hopoff Only $10.00---------------------------$5.00 (club rate)
Show n' Shine + SPL Comp $30.00-------------------$25.00 (club rate)
Show n' Shine + Outlaw Hopoff $25.00-------------$20.00 (club rate)

The club rate is for 5 cars or more and you must arrive all at the same time with a C7 sticker on the car.
We can also create a specific class if we want, but we'll need to commit 15 or more cars.

I don't expect a solid commitment now, if you can perfect, but we can start working on our presence now! It would be nice to see a BIG turnout from C7 at this event!

I've been in contact with their show coordinator for a few weeks and she seems like a nice person! Mayby she'll come down and say Hi this weekend!

Brai, you can be part of it, it's not related to Toyota! But you'll need a C7 sticker if you want to group rate. Or you can make it happen in the RSX Club!

I might be interested in the SPL comp. I won't know till after May for sure. Entering a couple of local comps then, as long as i don't get my ass kicked in them I'll go.

I did only one competition and I don't know what kind of bass is the best with my setup! I don't go there to win, just for the fun of it!:mrgreen:

Ya most likely i'd be down for that, close by so not that far. No clue what mine hits, have to wait till May to find out, but I'm sure its a decent number. i don't even have it turned up close to full, volume/bass and it shakes my car. Makes for a nice massage on the ride to/from work! :giggle:

was a good show, the weather just sucked most of the day!
vm took home quite a few trophies including the best club award! woot! :D

ya it was pretty good. ya that was expected, you had that whole section full. i stayed for toyota & nissian awards, took off after that. was warned bout cops, saw more going to the show, didn't see a single one on the way home. ya rain kinda sucked. but when it was coming down hard, nice time for a nap. lol
