I was wondering if anyone has a garage that Scotty and myself might be able to use to do some springs and coil over work on our cars :D

Ideally it would be flat and enough room to get on both sides of the car my garage is tighter than anything

Hey Saturday is supposed to be beautiful you should do it then! I was wondering if you wanted to make it a lil install meet or something as I wanted too know if you guys would help me a Burrcold swap rims? I couldnt work on a car if my life depended on it and was wondering if you guys were willing to help us swap rims or if you had a second set of rims I could borrow for a few hours so my dad could do the swap? Help guys...Help!

i did have a nice garage...

for the rims, is it advised that you use an air tool to bolt them on? i'm just wondering if you did it by hand, would it be alright (since isn't there a required force to bolt them in at or something :? )

I loved that garage of yours Pete. That is like my dream garage!

You can unbolt them with an air tool, but I'd rather torque on by hand when putting them on again. Most general shops don't though.

shouldn't use air tools. You should probably get a torque wrench so its properly done.

you can use air tools to take off and put on rims. proper tq is great as to much can warp rotors. as for taking it to a shop, shops suck, plain and simple. all use air tools, some use tq sticks, most don't, and those that do won't if they're being rushed. though most mechanics have a sort of feel for proper tq with their airgun. but for rims being close to the tq is good enough, just as long as it's not outragiously loose or tight you'll be fine.

don't shoot yourself in the eye with that spring when it comes on now. :giggle:

My driveway is flat. I don't know the exact dimensions, but if I put my Mom's car in the street and mine in the garage, you can probably fit 3 cars along the driveway. 4 if you put a car in betweent he garage and the edge of the driveway.

But, I don't think my Mom would like the idea of a group of Celica's around our house! :D

You should get it done at a shop because I remember breaking my 3/8 extension installing my springs. :P
