Hi,

Just joined yesterday. Like Satoshi I hang out on foreign Celica boards as it's the best place for info. I'm from and live in Ireland and unfortunately I'm the only owner of a Gen7 190 (GT-S, ZZT231) import in the Irish Toyota club. So there's no one in the club to compair notes and problems with.

Great to see such a great car has such a huge internation following. :smile:

celicaIE did you import ur celica from japan? If you did, is ur car SS-II with super strut or no super strut?

Yea Faisal. It's from Japan. Would have to go look to get the info you ask or I'd have to guess.

As for the footwell lights: no fix yet. I'm trying TRD in Japan now to get the instructions. I just pulled out most of the dash to follow the wires but got lost. There's a lot of crap in there.

You shouldn't be contacting TRD japan for the footwell/key light they won't know what you are talking about, that's part of the JDM OEM option. So you should try contacting Toyota Japan instead....it might sound weird but in japan they consider TRD as different company.

Do you have 98 ocatane gas in Ireland? If you do, please get the C-ONE ecu...because it's damn GOOOOD! Also I would've gotten it if we had higher octane in canada.

Hey Faisal,

We have a 97 octane and the basic 95. Even the 97 is rare. Fuel costs enough here. They wouldn't be able to sell the 98.

I'll try TRD and Toyota Japan for the lights. Although you can get them on the car when you buy it in Japan, it seems to be TRD that sell them. I'll keep at it.

wow...another TRD $$ King like Faisal...this is gonna get interesting...hey I got an idea...why don't either of you buy TRD Japan...and just import the company over here...so the rest of us can buy stuff cheaper!! lol!! seriously...you guys are really sporting some nice rides...super TRD rides...I didn't even know about HALF the trd stuff till I heard Faisal had "just bought it"...!!! :lol: That's funny 'cos I haven't ordered anything from TRD, ever. My car arrived with the kit. I have ordered other stuff though. In a few weeks I'll have some of this chrome stuff.

And I've order some of the SEM vinyl dye to paint my centre console. I have a spare gear surround to test it on. Silver to match the car. The stock silver just isn't strong enough. If that works out I'll spray the dash black and parts of the steering wheel silver. The two toned wheel looks grey instead of silver.

Faisal: As for the SS-II super strut? I have the colour co-ordinated interior (centre console and steering wheel), electric folding mirrors, chrome door sill (It says Celica, I'd like to put a blue light under it), Electronic Climate Control and rear strut bar. Don't know about brake pads, roters, and calipers. And definitely don't have the Sat Nav.

Not sure if you car buy it as a mod. You'd have to completely change the alot of the car.
