Four Star Motorsports and the Maple Leaf Rally Club are proud to present the 2005 Four Star Motorsports Rallycross Series!

- All volunteers for the 2005 Black Bear Rally will receive a $10 rebate (to be paid in cash at the event) for their entry in the July rallycross.
- All MLRC club members will receive a $10 rebate (to be paid in cash at the event) at each rallycross.

The July rallycross has been postponed because of the rescheduling of the Black Bear rally. The August and September events will go ahead as scheduled. The new date is tentatively set for October 16, pending confirmation from the landowners.

Online registration will open following the Black Bear rally in late July.

Thanks for your patience.

wow!!

October's pretty late in the season!! Bancroft seems to be about 2-4 weeks ahead/behind weather wise..

(ie the weather they get on October 16th would be more like the weather we would expect to see two weeks later -- Like November).

Yes! Congrats Les!! Very respectable times, and you look MUCH smoother then last year. I almost crapped my pants when you set-up the car for that turn in the pit. SO MUCH FUN!!! :D

... I personaly think that Wong should charge $10 per ride. It would pay for his trip to the event.. ;)

Totally agree about Wong's skills. I'll never forget the ride he gave me in the pit last year. Amasing driver!

Hurray for photo's: http://www.dhdynamics.com/blog/?p=120#more-120

Looks like everybody had fun at this event.
I managed 3rd in my class and 10th overall. I'm actually pretty disappointed with my performance. I thought I could do better.
The Rally Paseo Team had a few scary moments, but it turns out we didn't break anything. We'll be out at the next rallycross, further testing the car's reliability before Tall Pines. We plan a few extra performance upgrades before then too. So hopefully I'll be aiming for a better result.

GT4LechacZ: That is one sweet ride you've got there! It's the total package. Great performance, Great looks, Great sounds! And you handle it pretty well too. Very impresive.

Note: FWD Drift is cool!

You would have to be more than drunk then to take your car on one of these tracks, I believe they call it retarded! :giggle:

There were rocks bigger than your head that Les was driving over.

All I could to was cringe at every bang and smash... ooooooooooouch!

Your car would be a shovel!

Lucky for you I am your biggest race fan.... size wise lol.

But I would have 100% confidence in your ability to drive this type of racing.

Even though its 100% different syle.

Lets jack your car up six inches and go for it! WOOT WOOT!!

Two things you would need...

1) Skid Plate/s

2) Find mud flaps to keep those boulders off your paint.

Now a question for you, I thought Suburu's if not all ... some came stock with skid plates or rock guard panels. Is that true?

I know for sure I need a rear diff protector. and the shields are not what I would call bomb proof!
I gotta get my ass up there to see it first hand first and then calculate the risks.

I have an idea!

Let me take your car up for a day and when I return it... if you don't like the way it looks I will wash it for free

Sounds like a good idea to me, I know Mark will back me up on this and he may even tag along to give you his thoughts on how it handles

four feet off the ground!

The conditions are rough in that lot. It seems pretty hard on the cars. But I've never seen anyone take any damage worse than a flat tire and some scrapes on the paint. As long as your car in in good shape (and isn't lowered), it's unlikely it would get hurt.

Agreeded... Most of the damage I've seen is from people screwing up whist driving, and ALWAYS in the pit.. Just don't push yourself past your limits and you'll be fine..

It was a lot of fun!
Wedge I agree with the part about the car being a sweet package but i wouldnt say i can handle it that well... car is very hard to drive as is, 'cause mainly if the suspension being too hard and the steering rack being too slow. Well those are my excuses and I'm sticking to them ;)
It was good seeing u again too DONTPULLMEOVER
Mark and Brent, I thought u both were going to show?
