Have to say that this event was a hell of a lot of fun. Not only did it take place at Mosport but it also took place on a Track :2thumb:
Alot of people called it "Solo 1.5" because it took place on a tight test track and still we had to go around cones! It was great fun. Sun was beating down on us all but everyone had loads of fun. Best even so far.
Also this was my first event on the R Compound Khumo V700 and what a difference. I cant imagen what the V710s are like. Everyone says that they are the cheat tire with phenominal grip. But thats maybe for next year :D
Tires performed great, My first run was more of a fun run then anything. I havent had the time to scrub the tires in so that was the time to do it.
Off the start the course was straight which had a slalom in it, at the end of the slalom i was in secound gear and a 90 degree left turn which went downhill. As i aproched that my rear end came out almost spinning off course and into the tire barrier. WHAT A BLAST :lol: j/k wasnt quite that dramatic and close but fun. As the day progressed my times got better but still not good enough to keep up with the top dogs in my class.
Here is a map of the course which let me get into 3rd gear!! Now thats rare.
