Saturday,April 26 meet,Orangeville area. Anyone?

A while ago I posted my idea for a little cruise around my area,but I was never able to get the directions back,so we're kind of out of luck for the long cruise.

Anywhoo,if the weather is nice this saturday,who's up for a cruise and meet in Primrose (intersection of Hwy 89 and Hwy 10) at "Superburger." It's about a 75 min drive for most of you city slickers. People from Brampton and that area could make it in 40 or so.

Meet time in the parking lot say around 2pm?

Anyone interested,let me know. We can plan further.

actually, neither towns are located within the region of peel boundaries, they are both part of wellington county, est 1922 :wink:

actually,it's Dufferin County. And yeah,it's closer to Shelburne,I just said Orangeville,because whenever I say "Shelburne" or "Primrose" people look at me like :???: and then I go "15 mins north of Orangeville and they're like "aaahhhhh,yeah.....where the hell is that?" :lol:

The place is really easy to find. I beleive all of you would be heading north up Hwy 10 from Orangeville,and it will bring you right to the corner of 10 and 89 and Superburger is right on the corner. My house is about 10-15 mins from Superburger. There are some good backroads right near my house, so if any of you are interested in a cruise after the meet,let me know. They're all paved roads too,so you don't need your rally gear. lol.

Pics are a definite. I'll have my camera there for sure,and if 2pm sounds good for most of you,I'm up to it. I get off work around 11:30-12,then I gotta head home for a shower and stuff,so that means I'm back out of the house by 1:30-1:45 and waiting at Superburger by 2. I'll probably be the first one there,and you won't be able to miss my car in the parking lot.

Heh heh,my record time for making it from Browns Line and 427 to Owen Sound St in Shelburne (approx 105km drive) is 37 minutes. I think my average speed was like 135kmh. On the 427/410 I was flying from 130-165kmh,and down Hwy 10 from Heart Lake Rd to Orangeville,I was following a Mercedes E430 at 145kmh. I still can't beleive I never got pulled over. And I'm on the good side with the local cops around here right now,with this whole thing with the guy wrecking my car and crap.

So,as the week progresses,update me,let's see who can come and whatnot. I'm like 98% sure I'll be able to make it. If not,I'll let you know by Friday night.

ha! I was down in Etobicoke from like 12 till 5. An impound on Atomic Ave (just north of Queensway and 427) had my friend's stolen Jetta there,so I drove him down there to pick it up,and then I went to my dad's for a bit. I got back up to my place around 6:30 and then went out with my friends and got back around 11:15.

And as I pulled into my driveway,I saw a cop sitting outside my buddies house,with his Jetta pulled over. My other friend that was with him and walking home said that he got stopped for driving the car with no plates and insurance. Bummer.

I was racing a nice 87 GTS on the 401 west towards the 410 today. Guy pulled up behind me,got side by side with me,took off,I took off,passed him,slowed down,let him pass,tailed him for a bit,got into a free lane,floored it and got way ahead,then I see him righ tbehind me,and then as I took the Brampton exit,he took the other exit. Gave him thumbs up as we were side by side. It was cool.

haha,and I was cruising at 175 down the 410 just before you hit Heart Lake Rd. Made it home in good time today. Some chick in a Civic passed me on Hwy 10,so I tailed her,she was doing 160 as I paced her. Raced her from a the lights at 10 and Broadway in Orangeville and beat her. :lol: She was hot too. :)
